The door-bells

Wilhelm Hagwall, my grandfather, sometimes told me stories from his childhood and according to him Arthur was a very strict man who raised his children with a firm hand. Even so, it seems Arthur was also a man who could appreciate a good joke.

One morning when Wilhelm and Arthur was leaving the apartment to go to school and work, Arthur said to Wilhelm: Come on son, let's have some fun.

They lived on the top floor of a five story building, and they ran down the stairs of all five floors ringing each and every door-bell on their way down. Finally they ran down to the basement to hide and listen to all the confused and surprised neighbours opening their doors.
